You need to verify whether the replica of VM1 on Server…

Your network contains two servers named Server1 and Server2 that run Windows Server 2012 R2. Server1
and Server2 have the Hyper-V server role installed.
Server1 and Server2 are configured as Hyper-V replicas of each other.
Server1 hosts a virtual machine named VM1. VM1 is replicated to Server2.
You need to verify whether the replica of VM1 on Server2 is functional.
The solution must ensure that VM1 remains accessible to clients.
What should you do from Hyper-V Manager?

A.
On Server1, execute a Planned Failover.

B.
On Server1, execute a Test Failover.

C.
On Server2, execute a Planned Failover.

D.
On Server2,execute a Test Failover.

Explanation:
Test Failover is an operation initiated on your replica virtual machine which allows you to test the sanity of the
virtualized workload without interrupting your production workload or ongoing replication.
The test failover needs te be done on The replica server, which is Server1.

VM1 is replicated to Server2, then server2 is replica server maybe?
Answer is D?

B – vm1 is on server1 – there start a test,
server 2 don’t have connection to clients, it is replica only,
the test is about if can start replica without problem

“VM1 is replicated to Server2.” In case of test-failover, will created a copy of VM1, clients still connected to vm1 in server1. Sorry, but I still think its D

The link you gave shows them executing the test failover on the original VM. In this case it would be on server 1. B is Correct

The correct answer is B

Test failover: If you want to run a test failover right-click the primary virtual machine and select Replication > Test Failover. Pick the latest or other recovery point if configured. A new test virtual machine will be created and started on the secondary site. After you’ve finished testing, select Stop Test Failover on the replica virtual machine to clean up it up. Note that for a virtual machine you can only run on test failover at a time

guys failover test failover happends fro the replica host not the primary if you want to do planed failover then you go to the orignal host i just saw the guy in cbdnugets doing it this way and thanks to this guy i passed like 3 exams so far
