I disagree with the second answer regarding the virtual network name for the following reason:

Only one virtual network name is required for the whole failover cluster and not for each SQL Server instance, as well as only one virtual network ip address.

Please reply if you have more info on the subject.

I disagree with Mike and agree with the original answer. See exam ref page 334: each SQL Server FCI needs its own Virtual Network Name.

I think we both say the same thing. Because the second answer just says SQL Server Instance Not FCI. If that was the case then of course the original answer would be the correct one.
