You are evaluating the implementation of a Database Availability Group (DAG).
You need to recommend changes to the planned implementation to minimize the loss of large email
messages if a single DAG member fails.
What should you recommend changing?
A.
The preference of the mail exchanger (MX) records
B.
The duration of single item recovery
C.
The intervals of shadow redundancy
D.
The size of the transport dumpster
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but why is the answer not D?
Transport Dumpster is a 2010 feature
I think the fact it says large email tries to make you think you need to increase the size of the dumpster? I think what it is getting at is that you want to ensure email is not lost if a server fails while it is being processed?
Just found the following as well to discount D…
•In Exchange 2013, transport high availability is more than just a best effort for message redundancy. Exchange 2013 attempts to guarantee message redundancy. Because of this, you can’t specify a maximum size limit for Safety Net. You can only specify how long Safety Net stores messages before they’re automatically deleted.
