And what about cached public folder data. It’s available offline so we don’t need the database to be online?

Question is where is the “Public Folder Hierarchy” not if you will still have access to PF data.

From what I can see, you can change a setting in outlook to allow public folder caching but this is not enabled by default so that would suggest to me you would not have a cached copy in this scenario.
You will only have access to it if you have a second public folder mailbox on a different database, you will get a secondary copy.
The screenshot showing the DAG is to try and trick you, there are no members so the DAG does nothing.

agree, there is a DAG but no member, so doesnt matter how are PF configured, there is no replicated DB, PF are only on EX01
