HOTSPOT
A school has 200 students and 10 classes. Each class has 20 students. Each class has one teacher. The
school has five administrative staff members.
You need to design an Exchange Server 2013 organization for the school. The design must meet the
following requirements:
Students must be able to view only the email addresses of the other students in their class, the
teacher of their class, and the entire administrative staff.
Teachers must be able to view only the email addresses of the students in their class, all of the other
teachers, and the entire administrative staff.
The administrative staff must be able to see the email addresses of everyone.
Everyone will use Microsoft Outlook 2013 to view a list of all the users.
You need to identify the minimum number of address lists, global address lists, Offline Address
Books (OABs), and address book policies required for the design.
How many of each should you identify? (To answer, select the appropriate numbers in the answer
area.)
Explanation:
Default Global Address List — Lists all mail-enabled users, contacts, and groups in the organization.
12 AL:
10 AL – 20 student+1teacher+staff
1 AL – all teachers
1 AL – staff
21 GAL and OAB:
10 GAL/OAB – 10 groups (10 classes with 20 students in each) which are able to view only
the email addresses of the other students in their class.
10 GAL/OAB – 10 groups in which 1 teacher.
1 GAL/OAB – 1 group in which staff members.
11 ABP:
10 ABP – students of each class see only the email addresses of the other students in
their class and the teacher of their class and staff.
1 ABP – teachers see all other teachers
There must be an equal amount of ABP (1 GAL AND 1 OAB / ABP).
You should also create an ABP per Teacher. (Teacher may only view its own Class)
So per Teacher# you create an ABP with AL_Class#, AL_Staff, AL_Teachers (Total 10)
Final: 12 AL’s 21 ABP/GAL/OAB’s.
I Agree with B-Art
You can only specify in One GAL of OAB in the ABP.

The GlobalAddressList parameter specifies the identity of the GAL that will be used by mailbox users who are assigned this address book policy. You can specify only one GAL for each address book policy.
The OfflineAddressBook parameter specifies the identity of the OAB that will be used by mailbox users who are assigned this address book policy. You can specify only one OAB for each address book policy.
