Isn’t this question saying that you are contoso and your partner is Fabrikam? So from Contoso’s point of view, should you do:

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName fabrikak.com rather than Get-FederationInformation -DomainName contoso.com?

Why would you want to Get-FederationInformation about yourself….
