Read overviews of redirection and proxy
User 1 will be proxied to CAS01
User 2 will be redirected to CAS02
User 3 will be redirected to CAS02
Answer depicted is correct.
Since there is no external URL published for any of the two CASs, there is no Redirection concept.
All the requests lands on EX03, which is the only server defined with an external URL.
User 1 mailbox is located within EX01 (Brussels), which does not have any OWA ExternalURL defined. EX03 (Newyork) will proxy the request to CAS01(Intersite Proxying)
User 2 mailbox is located within Ex02 (Newyork), again which does not have any OWA ExternalURL defined. EX03 (Newyork) will proxy the request to CAS02(IntraSite Proxying)
User 3- mailbox is located within EX03(Newyork), which is self and does a local proxy to the active mailbox database copy.
nice work!
Excellent explanation.
