DRAG DROP
You are an Office 365 migration consultant. Your company has been hired to migrate the legacy
email solution of another company to Office 365.
You are creating a migration plan for the two scenarios shown in the following table.
You need to evaluate whether the client computer software supports Office 365.
Which software requires action? To answer, drag the appropriate status to each target in the
scenario table. Each status may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag
the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.
Explanation:
S1 – operating system status = meets requirements, office status = office update required
S2 – operating system status = meets requiremetns, office status = meets requirementshttp://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-suite-help/office-365-system-requirementsHA102817357.aspx
Office 365 works with any version of Office in mainstream support: the latest version of Office, Office 2013, and Office 2011 for Mac. Previous versions of Office clients, such as Office 2010 and Office 2007, may work with Office 365 with reduced functionality
Supported OS
Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 10 Server, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2008 R2
Mac: Mac OS X 10.10
So Windows 7 needs SP1 and Office 2010 needs upgrade (or has reduced functionality)
It’s actually true that Windows 7 needs SP1 in order to be supported (at all, not only for Office 365)… but then, it’s completely idiotic to say that Office 365 is already installed on it, it shouldn’t be.
Poor, poor question.
