What About Vista?

I believe Vista is also no longer supported and thus the answer should be OS update required.
When using webservices as O365 browser support is paramount…
Vista cant get newer IE than 9, Yammer is a no go on IE9 – Vista does still have Extended support apr 1 yr more.
Vista needs upgrade.
Office 2007 hat EOL in late 2012 (extended support late 2017), so after that its assumed not to work with other products (newer versions) – it may work but no guarantee.
And do remember “/ Any version of Microsoft Office in mainstream support.”

When MS writes:
“/ The current or immediately previous version of Internet Explorer or Firefox, or the latest version of
Chrome or Safari.”
You will need to check publish date to get the current versions supported. A good example Safari is supported but 1-1½ yr a go when Apple updated Safari they introduced and old windows auth bug rendering Safari useless with SharePoint, hat customers complaining referring to “browser support” statement from MS, but they didn’t notice the small date in top corner.

If The question say compatibility with office 365, Vista is not compatible.
But if the question speak about use of exchange office 2007 only is not compatible with autodiscover.

Your Office clients are compatible with Office 365. Office 365 works with any version of Office in mainstream support: the latest version of Office, Office 2013, and Office 2011 for Mac. Previous versions of Office clients, in extended support, may work with Office 365 with reduced functionality.
Mainstream support for Outlook 2010 ended 10/13/2015.
I would suggest that you need to update Vista, Office 2007 and Office 2010 now.
The problem is that Vista need upgrade not update
