DRAG DROP
An organization has an on-premises Exchange organization that consists of two Active Directory
forests in an account and resource forest configuration. The resource forest hosts Exchange 2013.
You plan to migrate to Exchange Online.
You need to prepare for the migration.
Which three actions should you perform in sequence? To answer, move the appropriate actions
form the list of actions to the answer area and arrange them in the correct order.
Explanation:
Before the migration to Exchange Online we must set up a hybrid deployment.
Box 1: DirSync for both Forests
* What if I have a resource forest for Exchange and an account forest for logins?
Setup dirsync against the resource forest (this we need to do) and setup ADFS (this is already done)
against the account forest. Eventually, collapse the resource forest data into the account forest and
then change dirsync to work against the account forest.
Box 2, Box 3: Run the Hybrid Configuration Wizard in each ForestMulti-forest and Multi-tenant scenarios with Office 365

Hybrid deployments with multiple Active Directory forests
Applies to: Exchange Online, Exchange Server, Exchange Server 2013
Topic Last Modified: 2016-03-17
Exchange 2013 and later hybrid deployments are supported for organizations with multiple on-premises Active Directory forests and a single Office 365 tenant. For hybrid deployment features and considerations, multi-forest organizations are defined as organizations having Exchange servers deployed in multiple Active Dirsectory forests. Organizations that utilize a resource forest for user accounts, but maintain all Exchange servers in a single forest, aren’t classified as multi-forest in hybrid deployment scenarios. These types of organizations should consider themselves a single forest organization when planning and configuring a hybrid deployment.
The migration of public folders from an on-premises environment to Office 365 is only supported from a single Active Directory forest. Similarly, accessing public folders in a hybrid state is only supported when the on-premises public folders are housed in a single Active Directory forest.
DirSync cannot sync 2 forests to one Office 365 tenant.
AADSync can.
Correct answer:
1. install AADSync in account forest
2. Configure AADSync for both forests
3. Run HCW in the resource forest
I agree with Kon.
At least one exchange required for each forest
One Azure active directory on one of the forests is required
I’d say
Install exchange 2013 on account forest
Install AAD on account forest
Run hybrid wizard on account forest
I am still reading to ensure my answer is correct
The question says the Resource Forest has got Exchange 2013 on there.
I am not too sure on the answer though.
based on the explanation below link:

if we consider it single forest not multiple I would go with Kon’s answer
1. install AADSync in account forest
2. Configure AADSync for both forests
3. Run HCW in the resource forest
Passed 70-347 today , scored 873 not too bad!
Shabnambb – any new questions? This dumb still valid? I am taking it tomorrow.
there were some new questions
I had read these dump plus pass4sure and MEASUREUP and loads of Microsoft links
good luck
I Agree with Kon, based on the URL:

On this assume an additional Exchange in the account forest.
That is the finish of this write-up. Here you will discover some web-sites that we think you will appreciate, just click the links.
usually posts some really fascinating stuff like this. If you are new to this site
1. install AADSync in account forest
2. Configure AADSync for both forests
3. Run HCW in the resource forest
we like to honor numerous other web web-sites on the net, even when they arent linked to us, by linking to them. Underneath are some webpages really worth checking out

Agree with Kon
I disagree with Kon. His reasoning is -> DirSync cannot sync 2 forests to one Office 365 tenant. However he clearly didn’t read the question -> “Organizations that utilize a resource forest for user accounts, but maintain all Exchange servers in a single forest, aren’t classified as multi-forest in hybrid deployment scenarios. These types of organizations should consider themselves a single forest organization when planning and configuring a hybrid deployment”.
Therefore, I think the given answer is correct
