“The partial copies of all domain objects included in the global catalog are those most commonly used in user search operations. These attributes are marked for inclusion in the global catalog as part of their schema definition. Storing the most commonly searched upon attributes of all domain objects in the global catalog provides users with efficient searches without affecting network performance with unnecessary referrals to domain controllers.”

For more information, study the function of the Schema Master and Global Catalog.

The correct answer is you would use MMC and the Active Directory Schema snap-in. But that isn’t listed so Schema is the best option as the Company attribute is an Active Directory Schema attribute. Although I looked through the properties of the Company attribute in ADSI and the Global Catalog Replication status isn’t listed.

this is correct. Just to complete your comment, the property you want to look for in SCHEMA context is “isMemberOfPartialAttributeSet”, which indicates if a property is replicated to GC.
