The question should’ve been Which type of image should you add to WDS1 first?
VM1 is the VM to be captured. This is done by creating a capture image from the boot image. Since it was not mentioned that a boot and install images have been added to WDS, the first action is to add a boot.wim file, then create a capture.wim from the boot.wim image.
Its A

i agree with Fausto
the question mentions that you installed the WDS server role on wds1.
this means that role is installed but not config.
so if aim is to capture vm1 then we need to add a boot image and then create a capture image from boot image and then use that image to capture the vm1.
