DNS Role doesn’t installed by default. They have a Server Core installation on Windows Server 2012, no DNS Role. So, only ipconfig /displaydns will show what they want.

The answer is B, not D.
Nothing mentioned about a DNS server, therefor choose B: ipconfig /displaydns.
If they were asking about DNS chaching on a DNS server, than it would be D.
