Your network contains a domain controller named DC1 that runs Windows Server 2012 R2. You create a
custom Data Collector Set (DCS) named DCS1.
You need to configure DCS1 to collect the following information:
The amount of Active Directory data replicated between DC1 and the other domain controllers
The current values of several registry settings
Which two should you configure in DCS1? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution. Choose two.)
A.
Event trace data
B.
A Performance Counter Alert
C.
System configuration information
D.
A performance counter
Explanation:
Automatically run a program when the amount of total free disk space on Server1 drops below 10 percent of
capacity.
You can also configure alerts to start applications and performance logs
Log the current values of several registry settings.
System configuration information allows you to record the state of, and changes to, registry keys.

This answer doesn’t appear to match the question, free disk space has nothing to do with replication of AD data, surely the answer should be A and C.
I’d say C and D
System configuration information for the Registry Value
performance counter using NTDS objects to measure the AD Replication Data
I agree with C and D. The “alert” is set at some threshold. This is collecting all amounts of replication data, not an alert set at any particular value. That’s how I differentiate between perf counter and perf counter alert.
Some of the answers on the this blog are with and without the performance counter alert or with the performance counter instead. More comments?
Agree with C and D. No alert was requested.
For the commenter/s that thought A:
Even Trace is suitable for applications and services that are acting wonky.
word for word agree with grande.
C & D
