You have a server named Server1 that runs Windows Server 2012 R2. Server1 has the Windows
Deployment Services server role installed.
Server1 contains two boot images and four install images.
You need to ensure that when a computer starts from PXE, the available operating system images
appear in a specific order.
What should you do?
A.
Modify the properties of the boot images.
B.
Create a new image group.
C.
Modify the properties of the install images.
D.
Modify the PXE Response Policy.
I believe that the answer should be A. PXE would load the boot images first. Normally, the boot images are Windows PE. Windows PE is an operating system.
But question states it should list the images in specific order. And thats efter the boot process have already taken place. Answer is correct.
Correct me if I’m wrong but when you start PC from PXE it loads list of available boot images. After you load the boot image you get access for install images. Thus answer should be A.
PXE shows install images, not boot images. Boot images are architecture specific.
It also says “available operating system images appear..” *operating systems* are install images.
You can change the priority of install images through properties.
