its C, when Force tunneling is enabled a user who connected though direct access is using the same VPN to browse the net ( the remote gateway ), in many cases there are BW issues at certain times when there are many connections and many potential other reasons.

C is the right answer, Direct access tunnel is used for internet traffic here, if a split tunnel enabled then the user uses his internet connection directly to access the internet instead of using the direct access connection.
