It is used to indicate whether the DNS client should check for DNSSEC validation in the

I think the right answer is B

The Name Resolution Policy Table (NRPT) is a table of namespaces and corresponding settings stored in the Windows Registry that determines the DNS client’s behavior when issuing queries and processing responses. Each row in the NRPT represents a rule for a portion of the namespace for which the DNS client issues queries.

So the anwser is A.

The answer should be B, the question is asking about the DNSSEC option on the NRPT rule which is defined as “Used to indicate whether the DNS client should check for DNSSEC validation in the response.” Answer “A” would refer to the namespace option in the rule.

100% agree with bob, it’s clearly written on the link:

Used to indicate whether the DNS client should check for DNSSEC validation in the response

Actually A, B and D are right. Check http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee649207%28v=ws.10%29.aspx

For each NRPT rule you have to configure:
-the namespace to which the policy applies (“to which part of the namespace…”)
-if the DNS client should check for DNSSEC validation (require DNS client to check..”)
-whether connections over DNSSEC will use encryption (“Use ipsec in communication…”)

This is probably a multi-answer question (“choose all that apply”) wrongly copied here.

Name Resolution Policy Table (NRPT). The NRPT is a new feature available in Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Windows® 7 that contains policies and settings used by DNS clients when issuing DNS queries and receiving DNS responses. The NRPT enables a client to issue queries indicating the knowledge of DNSSEC and to check for validation in the response.
