Correct Answer: Server Options
I just went to Virt Labs to run it through.
The Server Options gives you the Option to Assign specific DNS Servers to Clients.

Correction,

Scope Options is correct.

DHCP Console
Scope –> Scope Options –> Right Hand Pane, DoubleClick – 006 DNS Servers
Scope Options box
General Tab
006 DNS Server is Checked.
Data Entry\Server Name: DNS Server Name
ADD

You can Remove Servers from here also.

Like I stated earlier. Tricky Tricky.

I have seen a lot of confusion regarding this question.

I have seen two Microsoft Docs that state if DNS Servers are set thru Server Options, One states Server options Overrides Scope Options and also Scope Options override Server Options.
I am more comfortable with Server Options overriding Scope Options.

Can anyone confirm one way or another.

Which Doc was it that said that Server options override scope options? Because that doesn’t make any sense.

I did an Install and Configuration of a DHCP Server.
I was able to answer the question of which setting overrides which.

The SCOPE Options override the SERVER Options.
It is clearly defined during one of the Setup Pages.

Why not superscope?

Because (a) it’s not least administrative effort and more importantly (b) super-scoping would fundamentally change the network and there is nothing in the question that implies a need to do so.

For sure it’s Scope Options. If you read what is says “You can override each of the server options by defining the options in Scope Options”

That’s when you click on Scope options in DHCP tool.

You’re welcome Hassan 🙂 lol

The only reason it could be D is to access server options to verify/ensure nothing is set that would affect the other 2 scopes.
