Which following actions should you take ?

You are employed as a senior network administrator at ABC.com.
ABC.com has an Active Directory domain named ABC.com.
All servers on the ABC.com network have Windows Server 2012 R2 installed.
ABC.com has two servers,named SERVER1 and SERVER2 which are configured in a two-node
failover cluster. Server1 includes a folder,named ABCAppData,which is configured as a Distributed
File System (DFS) name space folder target. After configuring another two nodes in the failover
cluster, you are instructed to make sure that access to ABC AppData is highly available.
You also have to make sure that application data is replicated to ABCAppData via DFS replication.

Agree, think it should be C

Yes, C.

In a Scale Out File Server, you’d be having multiple servers connecting to a single CSV, so changes don’t need to be replicated.

In a File Server For General Use, you could have 4 servers using their own local storage. In this instance, you’d need to make use of DFSR to keep all servers on the same page.

I think they’re looking for A.
The question says: server1 includes a folder, named ABCAppData, which is configured as a Distributed
File System (DFS) name space folder target. The second exhibit in the answer shows this is selected as suitable for both traditional and Scale Out.

Are these the actual questions? as they are using ABC.com not contoso or fabrikam.

Does that matter what the domain name is? Does it also matter if the question is actual test questions or not? If you came here thinking you could just use rote memory to memorize 100% of the actual test questions, then you’re fucking useless in the real world.

Scale-Out requires CSV that DFS replication is not supported.
Agree with answer C

DFS namespace folder target –> supported
DFS replication–> no supported

ABC.com has two servers,named SERVER1 and SERVER2 which are configured in a two-node
failover cluster. Server1 includes a folder, named ABCAppData, which is configured as a Distributed File System (DFS) —> name space folder target <—–

I think is A

So if the question states this “You also have to make sure that application data is replicated to ABCAppData via DFS replication.” How can it be scale out if it doesn’t support dfs replication?

I think the answer is both A and C. Look at the question it asks “Which following actions should you take?”. It asks for “actions” meaning more than 1 so A and C is the answer.

I think it’s A due to this state “you are instructed to make sure that access to ABC AppData is highly available” so that scale-out File Server would be able do it.

i think it’s C

Tricky question because “DFS Namespace folder target server” is supported in SoFS.
But “DFS Replication (DFSR) is not.

So is must be anwser must be “C”.
See also https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh831349(v=ws.11).aspx for a support overview.

you mean “A”, as Ad said DFS Namespace (DFSN) folder target server is possible with SOFS. The reference he gave mentions it in the table.
