You plan to deploy multiple servers in a test environment by using Windows Deployment
Services (WDS).
You need to identify which network services must be available in the test environment to
deploy the servers.
Which network services should you identify? (Each correct answer presents part of the
solution. Choose all that apply.)
A.
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
B.
DNS
C.
DHCP
D.
WINS
E.
Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
F.
Network Policy Server (NPS)

Also A. You need Active Directory. The Question does not state that there is one. Zie explanation
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). A Windows Deployment Services server must be a member of an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) domain or a domain controller for an AD DS domain.
Asnwer is correct for stand alone mode. There is no AD mentioned in de question so the answer is correct DNS and DHCP
The AD DS domain and forest versions are irrelevant; all domain and forest configurations support Windows Deployment Services.
AD DS is not required if the WDS server is configured in Standalone mode.
DHCP. You must have a working Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server with an active scope on the network because Windows Deployment Services uses PXE, which relies on DHCP for IP addressing.
DNS. You must have a working Domain Name System (DNS) server on the network before you can run Windows Deployment Services.
A and C, I’ve got a WDS server running.

According to the technet, AD+DHCP are 1st choices.
ABC

The answer is B & C. DNS + DHCP
AD is NOT a requirement. “Standalone” mode is also possible.

Deployment Server and Transport Server
(Standalone mode, no dependency on Active Directory)
Transport Server
NTFS volume. The server running Windows Deployment Services requires an NTFS file system volume for the image store.
DNS. You must have a working DNS server on the network before you can run Windows Deployment Services.
DHCP. You must have a working DHCP server with an active scope on the network because Windows Deployment Services uses PXE, which relies on DHCP for IP addressing.
Credentials. To install the role, you must be a member of the Local Administrators group on the server.
Sjoerd Stefma and TechGuy are right AD DS are not demanded. So if we are asked: “…which network services MUST be..” then given answer is correct.
Answer is correct… You only need the DNS and DHCP options available.
I think I will become a great many horror stories you want to tell follower.Just. The clarity in your post is interesting, and I’m only an expert on this subject you can take for granted.
