You have a Hyper-V host named Hyper1 that has Windows Server 2012 installed. Hyper1
hosts 20 virtual machines.
Hyper1 has one physical network adapter.
You need to implement a networking solution that evenly distributes the available bandwidth
on Hyper1 to all of the virtual machines.
What should you modify?
A.
The settings of the virtual switch
B.
The settings of the virtual network adapter
C.
The Quality of Service (QoS) Packet Scheduler settings of the physical network adapter
D.
The settings of the legacy network adapter
is this right
please help if this is right 70-414
Probably should be A.

Following is a list of capabilities that enhance Hyper-V Virtual Switch usability:
1. Bandwidth limit and burst support:
Bandwidth minimum guarantees amount of bandwidth reserved.
Bandwidth maximum caps the amount of bandwidth a VM can consume.
Agreed
The issue with this is that these settings are configured on the VM itself not on the virtual switch. The answer is B.

There are no options available for managing bandwidth in the virtual switch. Check your hyper-v.
The given answer is good. You have to enable bandwidth management into your virtual network adaptor and configure it.
If you put the same priority for all vm, they are going to share the bandwidth available.
Agree with Strange and gi
B seems correct
and link posted by Strange explains it well enough

I believe this question has been parsed incorrectly.
I think B actually reads: “The settings of the NETWORK Adapter.” Not the VIRTUAL Network Adapter.
Because these things are so closely related they’re practically the same. Look, in Hyper-V I can open the “network adapter” properties and select a “network adapter” that is actually the “virtual switch” that I created.
I believe the answer is actually A, because I believe the actual exam question’s option B is referring to the physical network adapter.
puck, I would even agree only if virtual switch has such functionality, the one allowing us to “… evenly distributes the available bandwidth on Hyper1 to all of the virtual machines.” But IT HAS NOT.
In contrary, clicking in any VIRTUAL NETWORK ADAPTER in section BANDWIDTH MANAGEMENT you can achieve what you are asked in this question.

Good blog post. I absolutely appreciate this site. Keep writing!|
Why users still make use of to read news papers when in this technological world the whole thing is presented on web?|
The answer is B, you get the bandwidth settings on the network adapter window on hyper v, the only settings for virtual switch are to set it to private, internal or external and that’s on the virtual switch manager window.
