The backup data center for the Chicago office is located on a Hyper-V cluster named
Cluster2.contoso.com. The cluster has a single network path configured. The cluster includes
a Hyper-V Host group named Chi-Backup.
Cluster2.contoso.com contains the following servers:
• CHI2-HVNODEl.contoso.com
• CHI2-HVNODE2.contoso.com
• CHI2-HVNODE3.contoso.com
• CHI2-HVNODE4.contoso.com
In addition, the Chicago office contains two standalone Hyper-V servers named CHIHVSERVER1.contoso.com and CHI-HVSERVER2.contoso.com.
There are also four newly built servers:
• CHI-SERVERl.contoso.com

All the servers in the Chicago office run Windows Server 2012. Any future servers that are
deployed in the Chicago office must also run Windows Server 2012.

center is located on a Hyper-V cluster named Cluster3.contoso.com. The cluster has a

group named Sea-Primary.

Business Requirements
Apps
Contoso plans to deploy new applications to make its departments more efficient.
App1
Contoso must create a new application named App1 for the human resources (HR)
department. The infrastructure for App1 must reside in a virtual environment and the data
files for App1 must reside on a single shared disk. In addition, the infrastructure for App1
must meet the following requirements:
• maximize data protection
• withstand the loss of a single guest virtual machine
• withstand the loss of a single physical server
To support App1, Contoso must deploy a new cluster named Applcluster.contoso.com. The
cluster has the following requirements:
• It must span multiple sites.

This question is actually tied in to question 47. If the answer to that is correct then I would say that the answer to box 2 here is “Yes”
Unfortunately question 47 has the graphic missing so I will manually type the options on there if you want to check that out as well?
Having looked at this more I believe the answer to be:

This is not the correct case study for the question. the correct case study states: “The servers that host the CRL must be part of a Windows Network Load Balancing (NLB) cluster. The CRL must be available to users in all locations by using the hostname crl.contoso.com, even if one of the underlying web servers is offline.”
conclusion: box one is: healthy state, because the box next to the servers name is in green.
box two: No, The name of the cluster is incorrect, because the case studies states that the name of the cluster should be crl.contoso.com and not detcrl01.contoso.com as stated in the image.
box three: No, the NLB cluster nodes will need to be started manually after reboot, because they obviously haven’t started so you need to start them manually.

I agree with Juerg too, because on the graph presented in this question, the initial host state is configured as “stopped”.
The answer for the third (3) point must be then:

Regarding the correct answer of Box No.2, I want raise up another important point!
I remember that this question came on the real exam which I failed with 675 points, but I can’t remember the case study details nor server names.
However detcrl01.contoso.com is a “Webserver NLB cluster” with the corresponding “Webservers” members: DETCRL01 and CHICRL01. You can find those servers and the NLB details in the Contoso Ltd Case “D”. If this question will be presented under this case study, the name of the cluster is incorrect and the wrong servers are in the cluster.
Same problem for Q47 here. Those servers are not listed at all in this Contoso Ltd Case “C”.
That is a very good point!! The last time I took the real exam (which I failed) I did actually have Q47. On looking at Contoso D I am pretty sure that I had that case scenario in my exam. I don’t recall getting this case scenario to be honest. I would guess that the wrong questions are in the wrong case scenarios on here but it is certainly something to watch for!!

I answered the same as what dickie said above. The cluster name is wrong as the case study actually tells you what it should be called.
