Correct answer depends on what you want to do. If you want to create an image manually then sysprepping is correct. However by creating a build and capture task sequence (and then removing all “build” steps from it) you can automate all required steps. I would allways choose that option.

Yeah, I would just use a capture image in SCCM. It runs sysprep as part of the process. I think it’s a MDT task sequence.
