Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. The domain
contains two member servers named Server1 and Server2.
You install the DHCP Server server role on Server1 and Server2. You install the IP Address
Management (IPAM) Server feature on Server1.
You notice that you cannot discover Server1 or Server2 in IPAM.
You need to ensure that you can use IPAM to discover the DHCP infrastructure.
Which two actions should you perform? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution.
Choose two.)
A.
On Server2, run the Add-DhcpServer1nDc cmdlet
B.
On Server1, uninstall the DHCP Server server role.
C.
On Server1, run the Add-IpamServer1nventory cmdlet.
D.
On both Server1 and Server2, run the Add-DhcpServerv4Policy cmdlet.
E.
On Server2, create an IPv4 scope.
If installing IPAM on a dhcp server, dhcp discovery is disabled.
I’d say A & B
There are some important limitations you need to know about where to install IPAM. First, you can’t install IPAM on a domain controller . Second, you should not install an IPAM server on a network infrastructure server, such as one running DNS or DHCP. If you install IPAM on a DHCP server, discovery of DHCP servers will be disabled. Exam Tip Remember these deployment limitations for the exam because they could easily form the basis of a question. For example, if your IPAM server cannot discover DHCP servers, make sure it is not installed on a DHCP server.

Problem: A DHCP server is not discovered.
Solution: Verify that the DHCP server role is not installed on the IPAM server. Verify that at least one IPv4 scope is configured on a DHCP server, and that the IPAM server has a TCP/IP connection to the DHCP server. Also verify that DHCP INFORM request messages sent by IPAM server are not filtered on the network.
I’d go with B and E in this case
I’m agree with Neo ! B (uninstall DHCP on server2) and E (create DHCP scopre) for me.
Based on Neo’s link, B uninstall DHCP on Server 1 must be one answer. Configuring a scope is the only other obvious choice given the “rules” of the test, meaning if it’s not in the question don’t assume it was done.
A is not an option, because this powershell cmdlet Adds the computer running the DHCP server service to the list of authorized DHCP server services in AD
C could be as it does Adds an infrastructure server to an IPAM database. Meaning it adds a DNS,DHCP server to the managed servers in IPAM
D Adds a new policy either at the server level or at the scope level And this option too, does not seem to have nothing to do with the question proposed.
