Open a new SSAS project by using Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS). Right-click Project. Click the Add option, and then click the Existing Item option.

Use Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) to create a Deployment script. Use the .configsettings file to point to files copied from the Analysis Services 2000 instance.

Back up the Analysis Services 2000 database by using Enterprise Manager. Use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to restore the database to the SQL Server 2005 SSAS instance.
