While C may be the best answer, it is a really bad answer. It is not trying to PREVENT “Object Reuse”. It is attempting to prevent someone from getting residual data off of it, perhaps, but “object reuse” is not an attack. Per the Rainbow Series Light Blue book: object reuse mechanisms are designed to ensure that the authorized user of the system does not obtain residual information from system resources….Object reuse is defined by “A Guide to Understanding Data Remanence in Automated Information Systems” as:’The reassignment to some subject of a storage medium … that contained one or more objects. To be securely reassigned, no residual data can be available to the new subject through standard system mechanisms.'”
