I believe that this answer should be D: Full farm backups and differential farm backups.

In order to “Minimize the amount of time required to restore the entire server farm” you would need to have the configuration databases and service databases included in the differential backups and in order to capture this information and allow for the fastest restore you would need SharePoint differential backups rather than SQL transaction log backups.

If you had SQL backups you would need to individually replay each of the transaction logs on each of the different SharePoint databases which would increase the time to recovery over restoring a SharePoint differential backup.

This is tricky… 50TB is huge, so you need differential backups, and content < 15 mins… SO SQL Trans Log is 100% required.

The question requirement is "You need to recommend a backup strategy for the content in a SharePoint site collection." this would be Granular backups.

With 50TB, you'd detach your DB before doing a Farm backup.

Answer is B.
