Not necessarily. The question states ALL media files open with the 3rd party program. So, if you were to use A as a solution you’d have to click every type of file with different file extensions and perform that action.

Question states ALL media files are now opened by 3rd party program.
So for option “A” you have to find and “right-click/change/chose-program” all media types: .mp3 .wmv .wma etc.

Using option “C” all files will reset to be used by Windows Media Player in 1 click.
