2nd: run the gpuddate/forec
3:disable

if you disable before update you will get errors.

The order of actions in given answer is correct.
Edit group policy; delete applocker rules, disable application identity service and then run gpupdate /force on PCs.

Microsoft recommendation is “When using Group Policy, you must configure it to start automatically in at least one Group Policy Object (GPO) that applies AppLocker rules.” . When disabling applockers rules, you would disable service in same policy.
