The correct actions in order are:

1) In \\Share1, create a shared folder named Data.
2) In \\Share1\Data, create a folder named ApplicationFrameworks
3) Copy the contents of the ApplicationFrameworks folder from the default library to \\Share1\Data\ApplicationFrameworks. Add the \\Share1\Data\ApplicationFrameworks shared folder to the VMM library

The correct answer is:
1. In \\Share1, create a shared folder named Data.
2. In \\Share1\Data, create a folder called ApplicationFrameworks
3. Copy the contents of the ApplicationsFrameworks folder from the default library to \\Share1\Data\ApplicationFrameworks. Add the \\Share1\Data\ApplicationFrameworks shared folder to the VMM Library.

You cannot move things to the ApplicationsFramework folder before you create it – therefore the proposed answer is missing a step. In addition granting Read Permission is incorrect as users also need Write.

How to Configure the Library to Support Self-Service Users
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg610575.aspx

Access to the physical resources on a user data path is controlled through the file system. To enable members of a self-service user role to use and share their own resources in VMM, grant Read/Write permission on the folder to all role members.
In the Library workspace, self-service users can see any resources for which they have permissions on the Library pane, in the Self-Service User Data node. However, only members of a self-service user role that has the Author action assigned to it can use the resources to create profiles and templates in VMM.
To enable members of a self-service user role to use their own application packages to create service templates and deploy services in VMM, configure a user data path for the self-service user role and grant Read/Write permission on the folder.

Your link has this :

Use the following procedures to prepare the library to enable self-service users to deploy virtual applications to a private cloud in Virtual Machine Manager (VMM). To give all private cloud users access to prepared resources that are used widely in service deployment, create library shares to add as read-only library shares on private clouds

Matt is correct.

Copy operation creates ApplicationFrameworks folder in destination location hence item 2: “In \\Share1\Data, create a folder called ApplicationFrameworks” does not make sense.

But share1\data doesn’t exist or we don’t know .. So you need step1.

you are right about step2 , it doesn’t make sense. A copy will create the folder on the new location also ..

Anyone correct order please ?

imho the given answer (show answer) is correct.

The question states to “share” VMM data, so write permissions aren’t needed (no mention about the cloud users needing to share their customizations).

It says “copy the content” … it does not mention to copy the folder itself.
So Matt is correct.
