Which of the following is a view mode that displays all of the participants equally?
A.
Room Switching
B.
Speaker Switching
C.
Voice Switched
D.
Continuous Presence
E.
Enhanced Continuous Presence
Explanation:
Continuous Presence is a view mode that displays all of the participants equally, regardless of which participant
is speaking. Cisco TelePresence Management Suite has three picture modes, or view modes:
Voice Switched
Continuous Presence
Enhanced Continuous Presence
In Voice Switched view mode, only the participant who is speaking is displayed. When another participant
speaks, the display will change to show the new speaker. On the Cisco TelePresence multipoint control unit
(MCU), this view mode is called Active Speaker. In Enhanced Continuous Presence view mode, the participant
who is speaking is displayed prominently; the other participants are displayed in smaller panes.
Room switching and speaker switching are not view modes; they are switching modes that can be configured
on the Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch. With room switching, the active speaker’s room is displayed on
all three screens in all other rooms. When the active speaker changes to someone in a different room, all of the
screens in other rooms will display the new active speaker’s room. With speaker switching, the active speaker’s
table segment will be displayed on one of the screens in all rooms.Cisco: Cisco TelePresence Management Suite, Administrator Guide, Version 14.6: Advanced Settings (PDF)
