Approximately up to what range do direct infrared systems operate?

Hi this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering
if blokgs use WYSIWYG editors or iif you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so Iwanted to get advice from someonbe ith experience.
