Which RAID level is associated with two dedicated parity drives?

RAID 6 provides data striping with double distributed parity and good read performance, but writes are slower because the parity must be written twice, using different encoding schemes. RAID 6 is used when the disk drives are more unreliable, so data can be recovered from two failed disks in a stripe.
