Which two services need to be activated on a Cisco Unified Communications Manager for it to function as the publisher in a cluster? (Choose two.)
A.
Cisco DirSync
B.
Cisco Extension Mobility
C.
Cisco Messaging Interface
D.
Cisco TFTP
E.
Cisco CallManager
F.
Cisco DHCP Monitor Service
Did this change in later CUCM Versions. I am run 9.x and the DHCP Monitor service is deactivated on both my PUB and SUB
This is wrong answer . Without DHCP monitoring service the CUCM can be a publisher . IPphones can get ip address from any DHCP source . Correct answer would be AE .

Sorry , but i am still confused . I don’t understand why F is correct answer . I am sure that Cisco Call Manager will not need to run on publisher in a cluster and it should run on a subscriber to process calls .
“A ” is the only correct option but i don’t understand why Cisco DHCP Monitor service is needed on a node which acts as publisher … anybody any comment
If you don’t have AD integration, even A would be wrong. I don’t know to sure, but I think the question is not formulated correctly.
I think if you have pub/sub and you want AD integration and DHCP on UCM, it MUST be on PUB, subs are not capable.
So A/F is correct.
Both A & F are correct answers; Withour DirSync, the Publisher cannot save user information ( with or without AD). Without DHCP Monitor service, you cannot monitor IP addresses.
Also, Supposing AD LDAP sync is used, you have to activat ethe dirsync in Publisher not in Subscriber
