Refer to the exhibit. R2 cannot to learn RP information from XR3. Which issue is the source
of the problem?
A.
XR3 is not the DR.
B.
Multicast routing is not enabled on the XR3 Giga0/0/0/0 interface.
C.
R2 is learning the RP address via non-IGP routing protocol.
D.
Multicast routing is not enabled on the XR3 Loopback0 interface.
E.
BGP IPv4 MDT address family is not enabled on XR3.
Explanation:
Ok but when we see sh ip route under R2 replying 3.3.3.3 “know via bgp 2” It is because R2 is learning via non-IGP routing protocol no?
If the problem with Loopback0 why we do not see any neighbours on R2? I guess the answer is B. Also we cannot see the multicast routing section and interfaces where multicast have been enabled.
the next configuration is missing
RP/0/0RP0RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# multicast-routing
RP/0/0RP0RSP0/CPU0:router(config-mcast)# interface GigE 0/0/0/0
RP/0/0RP0RSP0/CPU0:router(config-mcast-default-ipv4-if)# enable
I think the B is the correct.
