This is also the figure for the number of default dynamic vNic
I really don’t understand this answer, can anyone share his knowledge here?
Number of Dynamic vNICs – This is the number of vNICs that will be available for dynamic assignment to VMs. Remember that the VIC has a limit to the number of vNICs that it can support and this is based on the number of uplinks between the IOM and the FI. At least this is the case with the 2104 IOM and the M81KR VIC, which supports ((# IOM Links * 15) – 2)). Also remember that your ESXi server will already have a number of vNICs used for other traffic such as Mgmt, vMotion, storage, etc, and that these count against the limit.
I don’t agree with NIC NI says after reading the table 1 of the following link
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns340/ns517/ns224/ns944/vm_fex_best_practices_deployment_guide_ns1124_Networking_Solutions_White_Paper.html#wp9001004
this question is deliberately vague in not specifying which IO modules are installed or which type of vNIC, however if a 22xx one can assume that it is the UCS 2.0 Maximums but if it is a 2104 then the maximum with 4 links can only be 112.
This question was written before the FI6248 was released and although the question has been updated the answer has not as a 6100 with a 2104 4 links would result in a max vNIC of 54.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/sw/configuration_limits/2.0/b_UCS_Configuration_Limits_2_0.html
Can anyone explain the correct answer?
F.I is Gen 2 then for me the correct answer is 112
116-4 = 112
112 is correct
