In which of the scenario will the DBA perform recovery? (Choose all that apply.)
A.
The alert log file is corrupted
B.
A tablespace is accidentally dropped
C.
One of the redo log members is corrupted
D.
A database user terminates the session abnormally
E.
The hard disk on which the data files is stored is corrupted
in my opinion B,C & E are the correct answers..read this documentation
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/backup.111/b28270/osadvsce.htm#CACFFJFB
DBA has to take steps to recover from online redo log file failures/corruptions.
You need to read the entire article… namely the next section. C says “one of the members” implying that the redo logs are multiplexed. A corrupted member does not HAVE to be recovered as long as there is at least one other member of the group that is not corrupted. By your own referenced documentation, your opinion is simply that and not fact.
