I will start by saying that not all Fuser Assemblies are the same and in the case of a non-stick pressure roller combined with the heated fuser roller this answer could be possible but the unlikely.

The answer in my opinion should be C. Corona Wire also known as the Charging Corona. If a Corona wire fails to produce enough negative charge to overwrite the image last exposed on the Photosensitive drum this can cause the shadow copy of the last image produced. Your thoughts are welcome!
