I think because bad power supply choice was not present here. I guess the two that make sense here were B and C. I personally chose HDD and RAM.
if it were the hdd on power on you would still have the post. if post does not run it is due to bad mb, bad cpu, bad ram or bad power supply. the only options here are bad cpu and bad ram.
