Not correct, many times it is an inverter issue. As long as the question did not describe the display type, if it is LCD with a CCFL backlight ,then an inverter can be also the correct answer. If it is LED type then the Backlight is the correct answer.

Hello the inverter is not a light source. It only changes DC to AC power which is required by the backlight.
