why couldnt you just document your findings and continue troubleshooting to exhaust your possible causes?
+turd furgeson: My thoughts exactly, that’s a piss poor excuse to escalate, my thinking is that the answer is C; that you would document that the initial TOPC and it’s outcome, and then continue to troubleshoot the issue to find a resolution, not just escalate. “oh well, I tried and it didn’t work, better escalate it to another technician”
