An “A” Record is the Address Record.
I disagree with your answer. The WWW record is an alias or CNAME record while the A record is a HOST record. When the client tries to resolve the address he will query the DNS server for the WWW CNAME record for the domain to access the web server.
The CNAME record has to be a FQDN, and would not be accessed/queried for an IP address. Make sure to read the questions carefully.
