Really? Last time I checked my math, 150 + 250 = 400. What kind of study guides are these, with so many wrong answers?

Instead of making an ass of yourself your loudly, you could have simply done a Google search for disk striping. And you call yourself some kind of math genius! You are an idiot and a lazy one to boot, who does not even know how to use the technology you are complaining about.

Take a piece of paper and draw a straight line. Then draw 2 rectangles on that line. One 250mm and the other 150 mm. Now what is the thickest stripe you can put across those two rectangles? You cannot make a stripe 250mm thick because both are not 250. The thickest stripe you can make is 150 mm that will fit across both rectangles is 150mm? 150 + 150 =300. I hope the next time you decide to open our mouth and shout so loudly, you will say Google before you even say anything else.

I am no genious but, I do know what striping is and Traffikator, that is a great way to explain striping. Ric, I have not reviewed all the questions on this exam so, please kindly state which questions you “think” have the “wrong” answers. But, please MAKE double sure you google them first to prove that they are truly incorrect answers.

By the way, I took the liberty of getting you a RAID calculator for christmas. feliz navidad!

A Strip set (2 drives) RAID 0 = lowest drive capacity * 2 (2 Drives) = 300GB (since you only can round-robin 150GB from each drive.)

Well, true. Obviously I was thinking Spanning, not Striping – and of course, I was the one in the wrong.

@Jeff, thanks for the calculator. I’ll try to keep it bookmarked.

…sigh, I’d say something back to Trainwreck there about manners, and how brave he is to use foul language to someone he’s never met – or is likely to – in person. However, I’ll restrain myself and point out only that now that you’ve made yourself just that much more superior than me – you’re still less than something I’d scrape off my shoe. Be glad this ISN’T a full contact study guide – because surely one of us would regret your lack of manners. That’s my shout out to the (theoretically) superior intellect above.
