A technician wants to increase the reliability of a DHCP server. Which of the following components
should be installed to increase the server’s uptime on the network?
A.
Increase the amount of RAM
B.
Use a lower voltage power supply
C.
Add a hardware firewall
D.
Install redundant NICs
Correct Answer: D
Please explain to me how a redundant NIC will “increase the server’s uptime on the network”… =?
While I can see this may possibly allowing the machine to respond to requests faster, I don’t see how it can lead to increased uptime…
And, please, no flames… I’m just askin’ for clarification.
Thanks.
Let me clarify my question…
I can see where RELIABILITY may be enhanced, but “uptime”??
Thanks.
