A security administrator discovers an image file that has several plain text documents hidden in
the file. Which of the following security goals is met by camouflaging data inside of other files?
A.
Integrity
B.
Confidentiality
C.
Steganography
D.
Availability
This should be “Steganography.”
Steganography is the art or practice of concealing a message, image, or file within another message, image, or file.

Re-read the question OP. Its not asking WHAT method is used to hide a file etc. within an image, its asking what SECURITY GOAL is met through the use of steganography. In this case, the answer is ‘B’ – “Confidentiality.”
This is a misleading question. It confuses both concepts of steganography and confidentiality.
It should read more like : “some hidden files are found”
And I am not sure how: “the following security goal is met by camouflaging data inside other files”
Another tricky BS question. Confidentiality was the goal, and Steganography was the method used to meet that goal.
Is Cisco writing their questions now?
Tely is absolutely right. This is an example of the question revealing more about this concept in getting us to see that confidentiality results from the use of steganography.
