I agree C is correct 🙂
Got this question in today exam.Answer C
hi team,
is answer c is correct or A.
regards,
Tushar
Correct answer is C. The application that is used to keep track of licencing is SmartUpdate. I have used this application many time to licence the CP firewalls.
The test exam says D. Smartdashboard as the correct answer.
D is correct, the key phrase here is “which application will tell you,” SmartDashboard begins to pop up warnings at 30 days. SmartUpdate lets you view active liceses and dates as well but while it doesn’t ‘tell’ you can look it up from there. So the best answer is D within this context.
C is the correct answer, license and update can be tracked on SmartUpdate Console
The Correct Answer is Smart Update
Smart Update –> Licenses and Contracts — > Show Expired
You will get a prompt window to check the licenses expiring in 30 days
The answer to this question is “D. SmartDashboard.” I got this answer on an exam recently and I got it wrong because I picked SmartUpdate. I went to review my answers and the reason for this was because what William S. Audette was correct. The key phrase here is “which application will tell you.” SmartDashboard begins to pop up warnings at 30 days. SmartUpdate does not pop up warnings about licenses expiring.
This is rediculous. On the whole.
If you dont know which answer CheckPoint, or Pearson, NEEDS to hear for a mark..
DON’T LEAVE A COMMENT.
Who cares what the correct answer is? Check Point? nope. Pearson? nope.
A bunch of random assholes trying to get picky as fuck with information that doesn’t concern them? “YES OMG YES I NEED TO POST THAT THIS ANSWER IS WRONG. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT”
-D- Pop-up warning displayed during policy installation …
On Smart Update application, click on the Launch Menu and select Licenses & Contracts> Show Expired.
The last option in this window is, “Search for expired licenses/contracts expiring within next 30 days”. Smart Update answer C looks like the correct one.
Can anyone share a screenshot of SmartDashboard showing such a pop up? I am using a trial license, hence not possible to simulate.
C
