Answer should be D, since the question says “in case of a hardware failure” that means you must perform a complete restore in the second firewall and to accomplish that a snapshot must be used to restore the drivers.

I think its C because it says:
“you have a server with the exact same hardware and firewall version installed”, note it says “AND FIREWALL VERSION INSTALLED” which to me suggests that they have Gai Operating System pre-installed so therefore just require a backup to be restored onto it.

Snapshot is particular to firewall running on SPLAT, on gaia, backup utility is enough to restore routing conf, dos, etc. Ans should be C.
