happen?

A.
ClusterXL member ‘B’ also left the cluster.

B.
ClusterXL member ‘B’ stays active as last member.

C.
Both ClusterXL members share load equally.

D.
ClusterXL member ‘A’ is asked to come back to cluster.

It depends on who has priority, maybe an image is missing here…

I think D could be the correct answer, because when you see a peer cluster member down it means it has a problem, and as the administrator has disabled the switch port then to FW B it doesn’t make any difference other than now it can’t see FW A.

Admin is setting port down (not mentioned that it is on member A) “to cluster member B” so no change to member B except it won’t see status of member A so it will stay up as last member of the cluster. As member A has broken and now with port to mem B down it will stay down so correct answer is B.

B is correct, because there are problems with both members now, there will not be another failover, and A will not rejoin the cluster. The state is Active Attention, Down.
Only should problems be resolved on member A will member A rejoin the cluster or take over again.

B. ClusterXL member `B’ stays active as last member.
