Reth LAG interfaces combine two forms of redundancy into oneā€”link redundancy and node redundancy. This two factor redundancy increases the HA of the chassis cluster and the overall throughput of the reth interface. This redundancy is accomplished by adding two or more links per node, a maximum of 8 links per node, and is managed by the IEEE 802.3ad standard.
