Which statement is true regarding dual-stack lite?
A.
The softwire concentrator (SC) decapsulates softwire packets.
B.
SRX devices support the softwire concentrator and softwire initiator functionality.
C.
The softwire is an IPv4 tunnel over an IPv6 network.
D.
The softwire initiator (SI) encapsulates IPv6 packets in IPv4.
C is correct.
A is correct only in one direction, but we communicate bidirectionally 🙂
From Juniper documentation: These IPv4-in-IPv6 tunnels are called softwires.
DS-Lite is IPv4 in IPV6 Tunnel , Tunnel endpoint configuration are IPv6 not IPv4 hence IPv4 tunnel over IPv6 network is incorrect
” A Softwire is a tunnel over IPv6 network”
So A and C are correct in my openion

Correct: A
https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB24610&actp=search
B is wrong because SRX does not support softwire initiator functionality.
C is wrong because a softwire is a tunnel over IPv6 network
D is wrong because the softwire initiator encapsulates IPv4 packets in IPv6

Both “A” and “C” are correct.
A Softwire is a tunnel over IPv6 network.
SC receives an IPv4-in-IPv6 softwire packet and decapsulates it to get the inner IPv4 packet.
